It is with great sadness that RTR announces the passing of our Director Sportif Mick Hoare on Monday 12th January after a short illness with cancer.

He will be sorely missed by all of us who had the pleasure of knowing him and working with him on RTR 2011.

He drove the RTR lead car with great gusto around Ireland and ran ‘Race the Ras’ as efficiently as the Tour de France.

A true friend and a gentleman. Our condolences go to the entire Hoare family – Judy, Ken, Neil, Paul and Siobhan.
